If you send a lot of outgoing mail, using SMTP relay is a great way to ensure that your emails are delivered successfully.

It works by routing your mail through a third party’s servers instead of delivering it directly through your own. That way, it protects your server’s IP address from becoming compromised - and if the IP gets flagged for spam, SMTP relay will simply switch the outgoing IP for another, so your emails still reach your customers.

SMTP relay can be configured in a number of ways. Typically it’s done by installing an application, like a WordPress plugin. However, we’ve developed an SMTP relay feature within the platform itself - which means one less plugin to maintain on your site.

You can enable SMTP relay with one click from your server’s ‘Configuration’ page.
