# Accessing your SSH details

SSH access is generally needed for your developer, especially if your site is based on Magento 2 as it requires quite a lot of CLI (Command Line Interface) commands to be run.

Before gaining SSH access you will need to allow your IP by following our guide on [Adding your IP to the servers Allowed IP List](https://support.nimbushosting.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/9592837085597-How-To-Allow-An-IP-Address).

First you need to log into the hosting platform, and then click on the website you want the access details for.

From the site dashboard, click on **the FTPS, SSH & Git option from the left hand column:**

From here you can copy the SSH login info or Reset the password:
